Arrived

So here we are: in Buenos Aires.
The flight was ok - a little long (1.5 hours from Hamburg to Paris, 4 hours layover in Paris, 13 hours from Paris to Buenos Aires), but all in all managable.
First thing we experienced was a taxi driver who admitted that he made a deal with us but then said he knew that he said that before but actually it´s more and that´s just what it is. So.... hmm... what are we gonna do? Pay him I guess...
Next obstacle: the German bank that advertised that we could deduct money free of charge in any foreign country apparently was kidding as well. We got the total amount of 100 pesos (about 25 Euro) after we waited in line for about 20 minutes each at 3 different banks. Of course you can survive on that here for 2 days, but in the end it´s not entirely relaxing to know that you can´t really get money...
Next - we were hungry. Food is good! And cheap! So that was a nice experience.
Now - 2 bottles of cheap red wine later, we are in the hostel with very loud Spanish music in the background and life feels good! We are ready for new adventures... There´s so much more to come!

Wir drücken Euch die Daumen, falls die Bank kein Geld rausrückt, macht es wie der Taxifahrer!

Beware what you say "I'm in" to! Naw - go for it all. It makes for good stories.
