We made it all the way down to the (self proclaimed) end of the world: Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego. The first day we did a tour on a sailing boat and almost felt like Darwin ourselves. It is really pretty down here. The drive was horribly long and boring, but being here is definitely worth it!
Yesterday we were part of a little celebration: There was a group of boys scouts from Buenos Aires at the same campground and they were celebrating their last day, so they invited everybody for free pizza. We were already on our way when we heard the word ¨free¨ - in the end it´s still a budget trip... But little did we know, what a wonderful evening it was going to be. There was free pizza, yes... but there were also 3 whole goats on the open fire. Those were supposed to be only for the boys scouts, but as we are very skilled travellers, we know where to make friends and whom to offer some of our whiskey. So we ended up eating goat (no fork, knife or plate of course) directly from the fire. The best we had in a while and on top of it, it was for free and with nice company.
